Consultation & Training Services

As a recognized expert both locally and nationally, PEP is committed to sharing its knowledge through training and consultation. PEP’s training and consultation programming, designed to serve peer professionals who work with troubled and troubling children and youth and their families in the schools and the community, is geared toward maintaining young people in the least restrictive environment possible.

  • PEP Assist, PEP’s consultation and training arm, provides schools and programs with best practices for working with at-risk and special needs children. Services are individually tailored to meet the unique needs of each district.
  • Early Childhood Plus provides consultation, training and support services to enhance the capacities of all caregivers working directly with young children presenting significant social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
  • Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI) is an advanced therapeutic strategy for anyone who works with troubled and troubling children and youth. Offered by PEP as a five-day intensive training opportunity, LSCI has become one of the most critical and successful intervention strategies for working with challenging youth.
  • PEP Training Institute is a two-day training experience designed to develop education and mental health skills and competencies in staff working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
