Nancy Kochevar
Quality Assurance Director

Kochevar Nancy Kochevar serves as Positive Education Program’s (PEP) Quality Assurance Director. In this capacity, Ms. Kochevar oversees agency compliance with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Medicaid regulations, as well as accreditation from CARF. She works with program and clinical staff to ensure the quality deliverance of mental health services.

Ms. Kochevar has been with PEP for over fifteen years and has been essential in maintaining the agency’s quality assurance measures. She has extensive expertise in residential treatment and therapeutic recreation programs. Before joining PEP, she served as program director of K-Bar B Youth Ranch’s Residential Treatment Program in Louisiana. She also worked at CPC Sandhill Hospital in Gulf Port, Mississippi as a director of its residential program and activities therapy program.

Ms. Kochevar is a member of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association. She is a Cub Scout leader and committee Chair and previously served on the Board of Lake and Geauga County Head Start. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports administration and a master’s degree in health and human services, therapeutic recreation, from the University of Southern Mississippi.
