2025 PEP Rally for Kids Exceeds $150,000 Fundraising Goal
Positive Education Program is grateful to its supporters who helped raise over $150,000 for the 2025 PEP Rally for Kids. The annual fundraiser, which took place on June 9, is the only such event PEP hosts each year. All dollars raised go toward furthering PEP’s mission of supporting young people to overcome and thrive.
This year’s event focused on the systems that support kids with complex needs. PEP recognized two honorees whose work champions young people and whose exhaustive efforts have helped make our work possible:
- Jones Day: Jones Day’s Cleveland Office has been a partner to PEP since its founding in 1971. Jones Day helped PEP incorporate and is the only for-profit entity in the region that has always had one of its leaders serve on the board.
- Maureen Corcoran: Serving as Director of Ohio Medicaid since 2019, Maureen has been an advocate for children throughout her career and is the primary architect of OhioRISE, a specialized managed care plan for young people with complex needs.
The luncheon included a panel discussion moderated by PEP CEO Habeebah Rasheed Grimes. Panelists were Maureen Corcoran and Yvette McGee Brown, Jones Day’s Partner-in-Charge of Inclusion and Advancement. Young people served by PEP posed questions to the panel.
Thank You
The success of this event would not have been possible without the support of our many donors. PEP would like to offer a special thank to the businesses and individuals who were Premier or Champion Sponsors, giving at the $10,000+ and $5,000 levels, respectively. Premier sponsors included Benesch, Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio, Key Bank, Holley and Rob Martens and OneDigital. Champion sponsors included Applied Business Strategy, Hyland, Jones Day, Noreen Kilbane and RPM.
