CARF Accreditation Awarded to PEP

PEP has been awarded a 3-year national CARF accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. CARF is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on advancing the quality of services and achieving the best possible outcomes. Since its founding in 1966, CARF has surveyed hundreds of thousands of programs around the world.

Only organizations who meet or exceed conformance to hundreds of national standards achieve accreditation. According to CARF’s website, “CARF accreditation signals a service provider’s commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.”

There is a tremendous amount of preparation and effort that goes into the accreditation process. Staff throughout PEP assisted with the many components, which included a virtual survey, virtual tours, and staff interviews. PEP is grateful to the many staff who contributed to the process and helped achieve this special status for the organization.
