Training Opportunity: Understanding Behavior Through a Trauma-Informed Lens (June 10-11)

As the leading trauma-informed organization serving Greater Cleveland, PEP puts an emphasis on helping professionals understand the impact stressful or traumatic events can have on a child’s development.

The PEP Training Institute‘s latest offering – Understanding Behavior Through a Trauma-Informed Lens – is designed to help teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff and others confidently meet the needs of children demonstrating challenging behaviors.

The two-day program will be held June 10-11 from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. The program costs $200 per participant. For a registration form and additional information, CLICK HERE. Please register by May 31.

  • Trauma-Informed Interventions

Day Two (Tuesday, June 11):

  • Classroom Structure: Developing Self-Regulation and Strengthening Executive Function
  • Crisis Prevention and Intervention Strategies

Our trainers have all worked in PEP classrooms and are equipped with the skills and strategies needed when working with children who have difficulties regulating emotions, severe mental health challenges, autism and other special needs.
