2024 PEP Institute Focuses on Trauma-Informed Care
The February 2024 PEP Institute will be held at Positive Education Program this year on Monday, February 12 and Tuesday, February 13. The topic of the training is trauma-informed care and trauma sensitive interventions.
Highlights of Training Content
Participants will learn skills and strategies needed to support children facing significant learning and behavior challenges. In this two-day training, you can expect to learn:
- How trauma impacts the brain
- How to develop interventions based on the activated areas of a child’s brain
- Intervention strategies for use in the classroom.
