2024 PEP Rally for Kids Raises $178,000
Positive Education Program is grateful to its supporters who helped raise $177,845 for the 2024 PEP Rally for Kids. The annual fundraiser, which took place on May 14, is the only such event PEP hosts each year. All dollars raised go toward furthering PEP’s mission of supporting young people to overcome and thrive.
This year’s event focused on the need for young people to be surrounded by communities that support them. PEP recognized two leaders known for their work in community building and in their support for PEP:
- Ken Outcalt, principal, president of development, NRP Group and former PEP board chair
- Deborah L. Plummer, PhD, founder, executive director, Getting to We, Inc., and former PEP board member
Cleveland City Council President Blaine A. Griffin joined a panel discussion with the honorees, which was moderated by PEP CEO Habeebah R. Grimes. Young people served by PEP posed questions to the panel.
Thank You
