PEP Voting Information Fair Returns

On Monday Oct. 30 PEP will host a virtual non-partisan voting information fair for parents of young people served by PEP, staff and those interested in learning more about civic engagement. The event, which occurs just days before the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 7, will feature local voting rights advocates, Kayla Griffin, state director, All Voting is Local and Lique Gates, senior strategist, ClevelandVOTES.

At PEP we believe that lending our voices to democracy through civic engagement is one of the ways parents and caregivers can make a positive contribution to the quality of their children’s lives. When young people see the adults in their lives voting, it teaches them to value their own voice and makes it more likely that they will one day be involved in the voting process themselves.

Participants will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card and other door prizes.
